VPN Connection Data
ShadowSurfer follows a strict no-logs policy regarding your VPN usage:
- We do NOT log your browsing history, traffic destination, data content, or DNS queries.
- We do NOT store connection logs that could identify you.
- We do NOT store IP addresses, outgoing VPN IP addresses, connection timestamps, or session
durations that could be used to identify you.
- We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.
- We do NOT collect or transmit any personal data through our VPN service.
- We do NOT monitor or inspect your VPN traffic.
Any connection data (such as session duration and data usage) is stored locally on your device only
for the purpose of displaying your connection history in the app dashboard. This data never leaves
your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties.

VPN Service Implementation
ShadowSurfer uses Android's VpnService API to establish encrypted tunnels from your device to remote
VPN servers. Here's how our VPN implementation works:
- OpenVPN Protocol: We use the OpenVPN protocol to establish secure connections
between your device and VPN servers.
- Encryption: All traffic transmitted through our VPN service is encrypted using
industry-standard TLS encryption.
- Local Data Storage: Connection data (such as session duration and data usage)
is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers or third parties.
- No Traffic Monitoring: We do not monitor, inspect, or log your VPN traffic.
- No Ad Manipulation: We do not use the VPN connection to manipulate ads or
redirect traffic for commercial benefit.
Third-Party Authentication and Analytics Services
Our application uses the following third-party services:
Authentication Services
- Google Sign-In: When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive basic

- Facebook Login: When you choose to sign in with Facebook, we receive basic

Before establishing any VPN connection, ShadowSurfer will request your explicit permission to create
a VPN connection. During the onboarding process, you will be clearly informed about:
- The purpose of the VPN connection
- How your data is encrypted and protected
- Our no-logs policy regarding your VPN traffic
- How to control and disconnect the VPN service at any time
You can revoke this permission at any time by disconnecting from the VPN service and/or uninstalling
the application.
